Rest in Peace Dad :(

Yesterday morning (08.10 11/02/09) I got a call I really did not want, my brother was on the phone and asked me to come to Esbjerg/Denmark as soon as possible since my dad had been driven to the hospital and it was very bad. I took a taxi from Lund to Malmö and went by Train to Copenhagen and further on towards Esbjerg. On the way I kept on having phone contact with my Brother and when I arrived in Esbjerg 5 hours later my older and younger brother met me at the train station and told me my dad had died.

He had been at soccer practice which he is every Wednesday all year and he passed out while they were warming up, a few seconds after he woke up again and his fellow team mates had called for an Ambulance. On the trip towards the hospital his heart stopped, but they managed to resurrect him. At the hospital it happened again, when they managed to get the heartbeat running again it was very unstable and low. They couldn’t save him and he passed away – My older brother didn’t tell me on the train since he was afraid on how I would react so they waited till I came to Esbjerg.

I will update the story later on, but now I just want to be with my family.
