i-MSCP next release – Supported distributions

Dear community,

As a reminder , i-MSCP is supporting Debian, Devuan and Ubuntu GNU/Linux distributions which are LTS (Long Time Support) releases, as provided by their respective vendors, outside of any non-free extended support/maintenance/security program such as the Canonical ESM program.

The next i-MSCP version will support :

  • Debian version 9 up to 11, that is : Stretch, Buster and Bullseye
  • Devuan ASCII, Beowulf and Chimaera
  • Ubuntu version 18.04 up to 20.04, that is : Bionic Beavers and Focal Fossa

Support for older distributions will be dropped. This make us able to also drop some patches that were applied on the Apache2 Web server during i-MSCP installation (see the screen below).

People which are still running older distribution versions are encouraged to upgrade their system to the newly available LTS version.
