Yesterday our Internet started working again, when I got home from work I could see all my Putty sessions had shut down and our internet had been shutdown for a very short time. Then I wrote Bahnhof at mail:

Hi again Bahnhof,

You requested two new TPtest’s and the TPtest I have just made, looks pretty good.
We’ve been doing TPtest everyday since we error reported this – If you would like to receive all of them you’re welcome. Another question what was the problem, and will it return? How will you compensate for the loose of line quality for those 1½ months?

I then received this answer:

Hi!
As far as I can see we told you to change to another computer and cable and make 2 TP-test.
So the problem seems to be in your equipment if it works as it should with another computer/cable.
No changes has been made from our side or the citynet.

My e-mail back to them:

Hi Lars (Bahnhof),
This is the worst kind of Bullshit I have ever heard. If you look at all
the TPtest I’ve run it’s with the same MAC address check www.c0urier.net
and check all the TPtest I’ve made. We had a network disconnect yesterday
and certainly our Internet worked as it should. So please spare me the
bullshit.
I have written what I have tested with, so to write as you do seems like
you want to hang me our as a retard.
As I wrote to you the 8th of April:
What we have done:
Changed Network cable, tested with both a CAT5e and a CAT6 cable both brand
new – We have tried to connect directly to the Ethernet outlet and through
a HP ProCurve Switch – None of these does any difference to the speed.
We have tried to use three different machines 1: Core2Duo 3.2 GHz, 4 GB mem
– 2: Intel Core2Quad 2.6 GHz, 4 GB Ram – 3: Intel Xeon Quad 3220 2.4 GHz, 8
GB Mem.
We have been testing with All of those system’s everyday. SO PLEASE DO NOT
TRY TO DRY THIS OFF ON US.

FYI Bahnhof – We did not change anything in our “home” network yesterday since I was at work. So spare me the bullshit!

I have now written them screenshot and all the TPtest I’ve posted here. Pretty embarrassing they try to dry it off on us now.

Hi!

I am sorry but i am not talking bullshit, we have not done anything and we have not got any information from the citynet that they have done anything either.
We have contacted them to get ciofirmed if they have done somethiung with the net or not.
We will get back to you when we get a answers from them.

Then you’ll have to explain to me – When I got home from work, our network had lost connection at least ones on all our computers – And certainly when we made the speed test we had done everyday since the problem occurred it certainly worked. We didn’t try changing network cable nor did we change computer since we had already done that the 8th of April as I wrote to you. And since everything here is new, I did definitely not see any reason of doing it for the twentieths time!
And seriously, I sit in a IT surveillance team, where we monitor critical network’s/system’s – So please don’t try push this away like it’s our fault.

Today d. 13/05/2009 – An old issues appeared again – IP Conflict constantly – I’ve really started to think that Bahnhof.se is worse than Comhem, and that’s really bad.
