Bahnhof again!

Yet again Bahnhof in Lund/Malmö had a rather funny break down which affected many private clients but not business clients.
The private clients had a break down from 23.00 – 02.00 with 1 up time that lasted close to 10 minutes. Else 100% down.
When they net returned around 02.00, I noticed a lot of Excellent Servers users started to disconnect so I went to their web page and it was slow as hell. After 5 minutes everything was fast as lightning again.

What does this prove? Bahnhof does not give a SHIT about their private users.

Tomorrow we will be looking for a new ISP and I can only recommend everyone else to follow that. Bahnhof treat their private clients like shit, they don’t intend to change it since they earn their money on Business clients.

Edit: On their web page they of course don’t write anything about this, they don’t think their private clients notice a downtime of 3 hours. Nice going!

Today I got my girlfriend to call the Bahnhof support and of course they didn’t have any network issues last night. It has to have been either our PC’s or our router/switch as they said. Funny part is, when you test with different hardware it was not possible to get an IP from Bahnhof. More funny was all the users on Quakenet I know is from around Lund/Malmö got disconnected same as the Excellent servers BNC clients. I think even Comhem offers a better support and normally they actually say they have an issue, but they cant say when its fixed. I don’t think I have ever had as bad support as Bahnhof.se provides and that’s a fact. One thing I’m still very surprised about is, that it does not seem like they have any network surveillance at all, at-least not for their private clients. Nice going Bahnhof.
